My experience with Trustpilot has been extremely disappointing.
I submitted a review concerning TheWritersCentral.com based on my concerns about the business. When Trustpilot removed my review, I was asked to provide supporting documentation to verify my experience.
I cooperated and already submitted evidence, including domain registration information, to support my concerns that the business is operating from Pakistan. Despite providing the requested documentation, Trustpilot still kept my review offline.
This raises serious questions about the transparency and fairness of Trustpilot's review moderation process.
Trustpilot promotes itself as a platform where consumers can share genuine experiences and help others make informed decisions. However, when users provide supporting evidence and their reviews are still removed without a satisfactory explanation, it undermines confidence in the platform.
I am not asking Trustpilot to reinstate my review anymore. I simply want to share my experience so other consumers understand that having a review removed, even after submitting supporting documentation, is a possibility.
Consumers deserve transparency, and review platforms should be accountable for how they moderate genuine customer feedback.
Based on my experience, I would encourage users to approach Trustpilot's review moderation process with caution.
