Your "Services We Offer" Page Could Be Losing You Clients Here’s How to Fix It

Let’s be honest—most "Services We Offer" pages are forgettable. They’re either stuffed with industry jargon that nobody understands, or they’re so vague that visitors leave more confused than when they arrived.

At Clutchpilot, we’ve seen it many time again businesses with incredible services that just don’t know how to talk about them in a way that clicks with their audience.

good news is? With a few simple tweaks, your services page can go from "meh" to hell yes!

helping you attract the right clients & close more deals.

Here’s how to do it (without sounding like a bot).

Why Your Current Services Page Might Not Be Working

Before we learn the fix, let’s diagnose the problem.

Does your page:

  • Read like a textbook? (If it’s full of words, it is turning people off.)
  • Assume people already know what you do? (Spoiler: They don’t.)
  • Leave visitors wondering, “Okay… so what do I do next?”

If you nodded along to any of those, don’t worry you’re not alone. The fix is easier than you think.

The No BS, Client-Winning Services Page Template

1. Start With a Headline That Actually Means Something

Forget "Our Services." Yawn.

Instead, think about what your ideal client is searching for. Are they frustrated? Overwhelmed? Looking for a specific solution? Your headline should speak directly to that.

Example for Clutchpilot:
"Get More Leads Without the SEO Guesswork"

See the difference? One is forgettable—the other makes you stop and think, "Wait, tell me more."

2. Ditch the Corporate Speak (Nobody Talks Like That)

Your services page shouldn’t sound like a legal document. Write like you’re explaining to a friend what you do first in the morning

Before:
"We leverage cutting edge SEO standards to optimize your digital footprint."

After:
"We help your website rank higher on Google so you get more leads—

3. Focus on THEM, Not You

Nobody cares about your "award winning, industry-leading, best-in-class" services. They care about what’s in it for them.

For each service, answer:

  • What problem does this solve?
  • How does it make their life easier?
  • What results can they expect?

Example:
Instead of "We offer content marketing services."
Try: "Struggling to get noticed online? We create content that actually gets read & turns readers into customers."

4. Show! Don’t Just Tell

Anyone can say they’re great. Prove it more .

  • Client testimonials (real quotes, with names & photos if possible)
  • Case studies (Before & after results)
  • Examples of your work (Screenshots, videos, portfolio pieces)

5. Make It Stupidly Easy to Take the Next Step

Don’t assume people will magically know what to do. Tell them.

  • Clear call-to-action buttons ("Get Your Free Audit""Let’s Chat")
  • A short contact form (Nobody wants to fill out a novel)
  • A friendly nudge ("Still on the fence? Here’s how we can help.")
